How It All Works – Meals at Small Hope Bay Lodge
DINING AT SMALL HOPE
FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET, DAILY MEAL SERVICE
Breakfast service starts at 8:00 am (continental is available at 7:15 and hot breakfast is always available for early departures, whether you are flying or fishing), served until 10:00 am to your order in our dining room. Lunchtime is 12:00 pm, conch fritters are served nightly at 6:30 and Dinner is served at 7:00 pm and is announced by the chef in person. We serve lunches and dinners outside on the terrace right on the water whenever we can. If it's a bit cooler, we'll serve in our lounge. We've got a full bar in either area so your next drink is never far.
Desserts have always been of the utmost importance at Small Hope. We serve a minimum of 3 different freshly-made desserts at lunch and dinner. For holiday meals, we have been known to offer 30 different desserts! We do birthday and special occasion cakes upon request.
Overall, our menus have been redesigned to offer hearty new dishes from the Bahamas and beyond. We offer many fresh and local ingredients raised right on the land and seas around Andros. Through all of our improvements, we know you will enjoy your experience dining at Small Hope.
So that adults may enjoy a relaxing cocktail hour and dinner, children age seven and
under have dinner away from the bar, separately in the games room, accompanied by
complimentary babysitting. After children's dinner, there are supervised games galore
and arts & craft activities to keep kids entertained while you enjoy a great mealtime on
our terrace or lounge.
